I think you can count on the coaches to put the right one on the field. We will probably see 3 or 4 QBs against Kent State unless someone just takes the job.

We are likely to see 3 or 4 QBs in the KentSt game if one is way ahead or if they are close... We have 3 QBs that should be able to put up 40 on KentSt.

KB will be fine. Will he start all season? I don't know that, but I do know he has been in this system for the last 2 years and he will be just fine. The only aspect of his game I'm worried about is if he can connect on the deep passes. I know HJ and ZC can do that, but HJ and ZC don't have the athleticism that KB brings to the table.

Can you elaborate on this comment?
I'm thinking KB is quite quite quick and has more than sufficient mobility -

Until we see it, we don't know what the offensive scheme will be. We can think that KB doesn't fit last year's offense, but this year's could be totally different.
Even small changes can adapt last year's offense to fit new personnel.
This year's offense could be MORE explosive tha last year's.
What we don't know is, do we a quarterback that can put the team on his back, run a 2 minute drill and lead a comeback?

The Sooners saw two different schemes with two different QB's. It didn't help them in either case.

Not worried about QB

We've got 3 QBs who could start for most Power 5 teams. We'll be OK.
I'm much more concerned about RB than QB.

his arm in order to be effective. Auburn will undoubtedly load the box and dare him to throw.

Streeter, OCs, and Dabo know all Tnet fans can post and a lot more. My take is let the preseason competition dictate where the QB competition goes. No matter what, the Tiger team will be really good 1st game and get better against stiff competition. All in to another great season.

I would like to preface this statement with I am really pulling for KB

And I think he will look like Joe Montana against Kent St., what worries me is Auburn. I hope the coaches can devise a scheme where we can run different QB's without telegraphing our plays to keep things mixed up. Our O line should hold up, and the D will keep them on the field, but that will make for a long season if we can't get a post DW offense Rolling. Go Tigers!

All I want is for us not to platoon QBs. Don't care who ends up winning the job as long as it's one guy.

Same here. 2 qbs probably means we don't have a guy good enough to be the sole starter

Let them compete. The team will rally around whoever the coach chooses to be the starter. Auburn is going to force whoever the QB is to throw the ball. Legs won't matter. If you can't stay in the pocket and make that third and long play, then you shouldn't be in there.
