Great players take type of games and it motivates them work harder to be better. I hope he takes this game and plays his best games to finish out this season strong

Benched at homecoming is a big deal.
They say he works hard; you can tell he does. But, to me he is a bit "too cerebral" and is out there thinking cover two with man under too much instead of recognizing it; but then just letting his knowledge plus his instincts take over. This is why sometimes the ball isn't coming out when it should: "study long study wrong"!
Throw the ball and trust your ability! He has great ability and I think will bounce back and do well. I also think for Cade; this is going to go a long way in his development. A game-winning drive led by him in college. It's different; I know he likely did it in H.S. but this is different; now he knows he can do it. His confidence should be soaring!
