I saw this in The State paper today about the loss to Georgia :

41 — South Carolina’s 41-point loss was its worst loss since a 56-6 drubbing by Florida in 2008.

I guess they totally forgot about their 56 - 7 beat down in death Valley in 2016, I understand, I would block that out too. 49 point loss..
