Watson was never going to play in the bowl game? Seems more plausible to me just to say "he will play" until the Orange Bowl was completely out of the picture, and then say that it is a medical decision where the thinking has now changed.

I am not saying it was wrong to plat it that way, I actually think it is fine to try to get Clemson the best bowl possible. But it was a shame how anyone questioning why on earth he would play in the bowl game was a coot to the "real fans" on here.

Never really made sense to lose 3-4 weeks of rehab time to play a bowl on 1 leg.
