Great points. I had elliuded to this of sorts but couldn't get the words correctly. Anyway, beside the point. I like that perspective. Hopefully fsu, Miami, and us are playing that chess game too and pushing fox to get them into an offer in b1g scenario. That would force espn hand as the fella lays out. Good stuff.

But, I think that the best that could happen for college FB/sports would be for ESECPN to blow completely up and go away bc they have been in control of college sports for much too long and pushing their weight around, and now other Networks are finally seeing it clearly and wanting a piece of the pie, and they are willing to do whatever is necessary to grab a piece of the pie from what was the mighty ESECPN....

Not a chance. SEC is in a death match with the B1G. B1G will soon be making more $ per team. The SEC will not be bringing on dead weight. Clemson & FSU are additive. They may reach for UNC, but that’s about it.

The BIG will only make more than them for one year then the new SEC deal kicks in, the first year of it they both will make about 95 million then the SEC passes them after that at 100+ per school.

I have suggested this long ago. Didn't read it anywhere, just seemed like the fix to me. Make an ACC division within teh SEC. Do I get any money if this were to actually go through??

At some point we will reach the super-conference scenario and playoffs which will clear up all of the confusion and set us on a new course for college football. Until then, it will be very chaotic...
