Purple Uni's soon

My brother n law works for Clemson athletic department. Hes the guy that does the paper work. He delivers orders forms and he usually does it for golf, but this girl was out and he had to deliver order forms or the football team. He said as he was walking in he saw a big box with brand new purple uniforms, and while the guy was signing the clipboard that he delivered they were stitching some kind of patch to the front of the purple uniforms. Does this mean there are going to be wearing purple uniforms soon? Why would they order brand new uniforms and be stitching them if they are not going to use them?

I'm really good with any combination really. If the players want to wear purple I say let them. I think for whatever reason we normally play better in orange tops and white. Orange and purple are our colors so whatever combo they choose is fine with me. GO TIGERS!!!

As long as the Tigers are winning at home in orange and white, I don't see them making a change. Superstitions run high in sports!

there is an idea in student government to have a purple out for the VT game. I've heard it's been approved, which may be why there are purple jerseys showing up. Seeing as how we now have a Purple Heart recipient on the team now and it will be Military Appreciation Day. I personally don't own any purple Clemson shirts, but I would get one for this purpose. I know orange is tradition, thus why I don't own any purple, but I think it would be a cool idea to do just once. Now I'm just saying what's been said to me so don't take too much stock into it.

Thanks! That's what I thought because I had only heard things about it, but I never saw anything on campus or received any emails promoting it. It was a pretty cool idea though.

Dabo became HC in Orange and White. Don't know if we had a run like that when we brought out the all orange during Danny's years. It's an impressive streak, especially at home. All purple may need to stay in the box, unless we use it on the road.
