will make the SEC promoters squirm even more on final selection day......unfortunately for them the one loss they will keep bringing up for clemson (Louisville) .......will have beaten a kentucky team that lost by 1 to georgia and beat ole miss...and clemson......point being the loss wont seem so bad.

You're thinking too hard.

Selection committee won't think nearly that hard.

Assuming Clemson does not go to Charlotte but still has a comfortable win over coots. (I'm not predicting that. Just assuming best case scenario for Clemson to get an at large bid.)

Here is the discussion in the committee about Clemson.

Q: What about Clemson?
A: They didn't even play in their conference championship game. They're out.

End of discussion. Not even a single, "But, what about...."

Sadly, that same argument won't apply to the SEC teams that "didn't even play in their championship game"...
