clock doesn't start ticking until you enter college. That is why kids who go to prep school still have five to play four.

No disrespect intended, but didn't he only average like 2 or 3 balls a game thrown in his direction (at most). Seems to me he is better served to play at least another year or two in college and work on improving his route running. He's obviously got the post down pat, but he could drastically improve his draft standing by beating defenses on a few other routes.

Agreed, I was shocked he was even considering going pro. His size and speed are great, but he needs to produce on the college level.

Dwight Clark only caught 28 passes in his career at Clemson.

I'm not saying that Martavis will make it in the NFL, but he's big, fast, and has good hands, and just because he doesn't get a ton of balls thrown his way with Sammy and Nuk on the team, it doesn't necessarily mean he wouldn't make it either.

I agree. Not everyone is cut out for college schoolwork as well. He would certainly make a roster somewhere if he chose to enter the workforce if that's what he chose to do.

However, I don't think it is in his best interest to enter the draft. Another year to showcase his skills and produce on the field will drastically improve his draft position and his rookie contract.

We probably only threw 40 passes total while he was here. jk
