Heard him say that on 105.5. Wishful thinking. Now is a great time to place bets with coots. Their delusion is at one if its highest points I've ever seen. At least when they were winning 11 games, they had something to back up their thinking. Now, it's all completely baseless and is all based on the hope they won't return to there natural habitat as a bottom feeder.

Clemson has a very probable chance of losing 4 of their first 9 games, including 3 in a row, so I wouldn't be counting my "chickens" before they hatch.

SOS has superior coaching skills than most NCAA coaches. It wouldn't surprise me to see them win eight games but not even Stevie can squeeze out nine with that group.

Clemson, LSU, TA&M, Georgia, Florida, Tennessee, Missouri......thats 7 for sure losses right there. Throw in tossups between Kentucky and UNC, and thats possible another 2 for 9 losses. UCF will not be a cake walk. Thank goodness for Citadel and Vanderbilt, huh????

have some sort of mental block against them. Tennessee is a toss-up, and Florida is a bunch of hype at this point. UCF only returns 9 starters, so they will likely drop off a bit.
I think the Coots will once again eke out bowl eligibility. Spurrier will outcoach a couple of guys in close games to get it done.
Clemson will once again be collecting rent on the 'Roach, however. That much you're 100% correct about.

They thought that last year too, and they will think that every single year for the rest of their lives. Once they tasted alil bit of success they start losing sight of reality when the ship starts to sink again, so they just start predicting what they HOPE happens....not what's a more realistic prediction. 7-8 wins is the most they will see this year, and that's if things go well.
