He signed as an undrafted free agent with my team the Chargers. Every year undrafted free agents are giving this opportunity. Now....he is going to have to earn the absolute...hayalllllll... out of his opportunity to get a permanent spot. With that said... undrafted free agents usually end up on the practice squads or just later cut it they're not called upon by other teams....if not their own. DJU has got a major.. major difficult mountain to climb.

11% of the starters in the NFL are UFA's. Around 25% of the players on active game day rosters are UFA's QB is tougher though and he will never start for the Chargers. Imagine if he could work his way into being like Whitehurst though? Highly unlikely, but that should be his goal.
