Majority thinks that Clemson is leaving the ACC...

Where does the money come from to leave. Thats a pretty large amount of money just to leave the ACC. Its hard for me to believe that Clemson has $20 million dollars just laying around. Same goes for FSU.

just finance it haha. Seriously though, the Big 12 would probably pay some bc theyd be making money off of us just by being able to have a CCG again. Plus they could negotiate a new TV deal for more money. Clemson has 40 million lying around, I would assume some of that would be used too. Its either stay in a dying conference, or jump to a prestigious Big 12. We'll find the money.

I think what the B12 said was. They would use the money that the teams that left had to pay. Then we pay the rest. That should be around 10 mil.

as above posters said the Big 12 will pay half.. They paid half for WV..
BUT we do have over 40 million in athletic reserves.. we can do what we want..

Just tell the ACC we are only going to pay the balance of what they chitt the Tigers out of, the TV money Clemson did not get when on probation since it was the ACC who took the money and not the NCAA. Don't think they did the same favor for GaTec or UNC
