I think there are plenty of fans that have been saying Mafah needed less touches. Its been obvious Mafah has avoided contact. Haynes should have had more touches especially on motion plays and Adams should have had touches at short yardage.
That Jumbo play against Coots should have never been given to Mafah. I put the blane on Spiller and Mafah as he knows he can't pound. For the good of the team, PWoo, Adams or even Carter or Sammy should have punched that 1yd. Again, another coaching issue.

As you know I'm a Dabo guy, I think he does a great job. However this is more on him mismanaging snap counts. Gotta see what's behind door 2 especially when there's 2 guys that look more explosive than the starter sitting the bench.
I don't think the rbs on the roster are bad, now I do question if there is that alpha dog. Eziomume might be that dude but I know for fact Gideon Davidson is that guy and Marquise Henderson is a homerun threat. I think Demarcus Bowman really set rb recruiting back as well. I think the trajectory is back in the right direction there.

I'll wait on the guys who aren't even on campus yet. Speed at BHP's level doesn't always translate to speed at the college level. Eziomume is not that guy, and I think we took him because we struck out elsewhere. That said, I think the recruiting has been okay. Haynes looks okay. Mafah is good. Shipley was good. Bowman was a huge bust, but I know we were all shocked he ended up being so bad (so I don't want to hear liars acting like they knew).

To be fair, Mafah appears to be injured. Though I do agree the way he avoids all contact is very frustrating for someone his size. I think that's less a recruiting issue and more a coaching issue. CJ also avoided any sense of contact like the plague (the difference being he was so #### fast and agile and tiny he had to).
