Mac-Island is going to have a heck of a battle

on his hands against Will Fuller for ND.
Fuller is only 6'0" tall, but he's quick, physical and knows how to high point the ball. He actually feels like a better Rashad Greene to me. Mackenzie is going to actually get thrown at this game. How many battles he can win is going to be crucial in how well we do defensively.
Prosise is a good RB, but I like our run D against anyone, especially if we're able to win one on one with their WRs more than we lose. It definitely won't be easy against Fuller, but I think our secondary is up to the task.

I agree, fuller is a beast...small guy but goes hard. Mac needs to be on his A game bc he's had a couple breaks...receivers dropping the ball...I believe in Mac n Kearse

Let us see how the new QB does away from South Bend . It's on him to perform under the lights of Death Valley , with 83,000 rather juiced orange clad fans' screaming voices raining down on him all game .
I think he may wilt . I don't think they will get a ton on the ground against our front 7 .
This game to me , comes down to our offensive output vs their defensive scheme , and how our special teams perform .
This is a close game , like the Louisville game . I wouldn't think this goes outside of a TD either way for either team . Hoping for a classic Tiger win and a nice , shiny new headstone .

I think it makes sense to force them to beat you some other way. Venables actually said Fuller is better than Greene. He specifically referenced Greene.

He had over 1,000 yards and 15 TDs last season, and already has 397 and 5 TDs this season. If you wanna do the math, he's on pace for 1,588 yards and 20 TDs this year.
Mac is a great corner, and it should be a fun battle to watch.
