We'll be there wit our best tailgate buds. Lyle's Large Band is awesome, and he gives them plenty of room. He's a Townes fan, too. Don't know the venue.

I haven't pulled the trigger on tickets yet, but it's because I have three other things shows of it. The venue is actually outside on the back steps of city hall across from the old Town Center Mall. Not the best venue, but they will sell crap beer and it will be scaldingly humid, so there's that.

at their downtown amphitheatre. It was as humid as humid can be. But Lyle and his band were all in suits and ties the whole show. Me and daughter of were about to pass out, it was as hot as a football opening game, and more humid. But those guys stood tall. This show, Lyle did an extended intro of his band, which is where I learnt that almost all of them have been with him since before he was famous in the 80's. Before Julia Roberts. Seriously, his band is better than him, and he lets them shine.
Will be weird at City Hall, and surely a crappy location. His tunes came up on my ipod whilest in Highlands for the eclipse with this couple, and Becky was like, wait, who is that? Mrs No raved about their live show in Roanoke, and here we are. You should come, I'll buy you a crap beer.
