have “History” together . . . They were both Members of the 2009 Victorious President’s Cup Team that was Captained by Freddie Couples (another gloveless golfer)!!!

Zach, as Captain of this year’s Ryder Cup Team, now must consider his old Teammate . . . Lucas says, “After this weekend, I hope to make his decision easier.”

You gotta love that quiet confidence hovering over Our Tiger right now!!!

I sort of feel like if Lucas could manage to finish Top 10 in the Fed Ex Cup, Zack will pick him.

Zach and Lucas, Byrd also and Bubba Watkins I think spent some early PGA days together hunting fishing and playing golf near the GA coast in between tournaments. Maybe they do still some elsewhere. Definitely familiarity and respect all over that bunch.

I'm gaining even more confidence in Lucas heading into the BMW as everyone up top had to deal with the same nutty humid heat as he did, all playing near the same times. Being where he's from and the experiences in many similar hot soups prior might give him a leg up.

I think his biggest key is believing in himself and believing he belongs in the upper echelon. That putter has stoked that belief and if he can keep his confidence high, he can continue to play well and post well.

Family was at the 2012 PGA at Kiawah behind the 18th green and a young golfer (can't recall who) had just finished and was coming off the green. Zach was there on the elevated walkway and came up to the guy shook his hand and talked to him and his girlfriend as they made their way to the scorers tent. Wish I could remember who it was..but age. Zach was just generally being a great guy and he wasn't paired up with the guy.

Same tournament different day, Rory came off the 18th and handed my 6-year-old nephew a ball; big Rory fan also.

I have a dream....
Lucas defeats Rory for the deciding point on the last hole of the Ryder Cup & is the proclaimed Captain America. At the rewards ceremony he says "It is my highest honor to receive the Cup for my country".
A certain soccer team then wets their collective diapers.
