Yeah I'm not understanding that either, two steps inbounds gets hit out of bounds and doesn't lose the ball until he hits the ground out of bounds. That makes no sense why that wouldn't be a catch

I've seen similar catches get rules incomplete alot in the NFL

I wouldn't be surprised if it ends up incomplete. Definition of a catch is ridiculous and way too technical.
