I think we all knew why he was back in the game late, he couldn't stand the thought that he had lost the spring game, and against his backup, even though I think that it was set up to make Trevor have work harder to win. Chase had the best receivers I think, and he had ETN, plus Chase is a dang good runner himself!!!

"Chase had the best receivers I think"- While I completely agree with you on this, TL16 had some awesome receivers too. I saw enough circus catches that day to amaze any fan. The thing that is hard to analyze is the touch football on the QB, as it can seriously skew the realistic value of each QB.
Of course, Chase Brice could start on 95% of teams in the country, so there's that.

As he should be.
But let's give some credit to white defense for irritating the hell out of TLaw for most of the game.

I think it was a little by design

There were two pass interference no-calls on long pass plays. Would have given a first down and good field position. Missing those two drives, a short clock inthe second half, subs for 2nd and 3rd string teams, and not having Ross reduces his O productivity.
Add in a fumble and int and yeah Clemson beat Clemson.
Think it was meant to keep him humble.
I’m not worried, are you?

I wondered the same thing. Those interference no calls were so blatant. Don't want those defenders to get the idea that they could get away with those in a real game!

You guys saw what I saw then. Sort of a teaching moment. Keeping humility and mixing the situations to create chaos. I think, outright, manipulation was the only way to balance the teams, though only to a degree. We have a heck of a backfield, solid backers and will be a force on the front line when healthy. Really excited to see this team come together.

I do not remember any pass interference calls nor any holding calls.

dabo was probably trying to see how he'd react under pressure and with some calls not going his way

The genius of Dabo!
Dabo knows that people learn and grow the most from mistakes and failures. What better way to have TL16 grow in this regard without it actually costing a game during the season.
Pure genius by Dabo!

Going into the spring game, I told my son that in my opinion, the Tiger split squads (Orange and White) were 2 Top 10 teams in college football getting ready to play. Watching the early enrollees and last years backups stepping up, I saw nothing that changed my mind. I hope the only losses (if there are any) over TL's remaining time at Clemson are during the spring game.
Let this spring game loss be motivation for TL to lead the Tigers to another 15 - 0 season.

I'm glad that we have a QB that isn't satisfied with the outcome. He is a great QB on a great team with loads of talent and he will adjust. Overall I think TL did very well in the game.

He played great, but I was glad he lost. Not that he needs it, but that little bit more motivation will make him work a little bit harder.

How many top QB's do you know that would want to play in the 4th quarter over a "spring game"? I love that about Trevor!!!!!

If you were a Gamecock would you rather play the Orange or the While team? Either one would kick your butt!
