Regarding the state of the ACC when Maryland decided to jump ship (from the UNC AD's perspective). UNC was definitely looking at their options, including the SEC.

The N&O is relentless when it comes to digging into the local athletic programs here. Seems to be some sort of expose every few months, but with the scandals going on in Chapel Hill I don't find it surprising.

That's an interesting article.

On another subject, the Rams Club must have established quite a large escrow account to pay Joseph Cheshire hsi legal fees. Now that Jennifer Wiley Thompson has been indicted on criminal charges, his hours are really going to escalate, and he's one of the most expensive attorneys in NC. I guess it's worth it to keep that girl's mouth shut.

The AC has admitted Syracuse and Louisville. Is their forte in football or basketball? What is the ACC building?
