I was listening.. The one thing I noticed him repeat over and over... "phthshtisthsisthhh shstishtishivsthisvith" He's pretty adamant about that, that's for sure.

On a serious note - is there a person that's less cut out to talk on the radio than him?? He's giving my car stereo a seizure.

Yes, I posted about his sayin Koenig had a good defense. Not that it matters but he hates Clemson so much I doubt he even knows anything about us, seriously. He lacks the ability and the objectivity to be on a national radio show! Hope we beat the heck out of them next week!

7-8 years ago, I briefly had a roommate that was a kicker for usc. I can't remember his last name - he only lived with us for like 2 weeks. My other roommate's dad owned the condo we lived in and the dad had hired this kid - the kid was from Columbia and only stayed with us until he could get a place of his own. He wasn't the starting place kicker or field goal kicker or anything - just a walk-on that landed a spot on the team.

Anyway, he told us that Holtz was always drinking - continuously. He said he'd walk around practice with a styrofoam gas station cup with a lid and a straw and that it always had bourbon in it. It struck me as odd, as I'd never heard those stories before, but he swore it was true - and playing for usc under Holtz, he had no reason to make that stuff up. But he told us that he drank all the time and the only way the players could tell was that his lisp would get more pronounced when he was drunk. Apparently it was common knowledge among the players and was no big deal. I had/have no reason not to believe him - but if he's getting stuff like this wrong over and over on XM, maybe that kid was right.
