Looks like someone tried to break into my truck

The key hole is all fugged up and unusable. Looks like some amateur tried to use a screwdriver to break into my truck. I'm not missing anything from the inside so I doubt they got in. I don't keep valuables in there anyways.
Sounds like I need to invest in these before things get worse:
1. Shotgun - I don't mind taking someone's life they break into my house 2. Security lights 3. Security cameras
There's been a string of break-ins around my neighborhood for a while now and people's security cameras seem to show the perpetrators at white teens.
Hope some parents somewhere don't have a teenager gone missing soon.

Welcome to my world bruh

Latest for me was someone trying to steal gas out of our trucks, fuggers scratched the gas cap cover on the Yukon. I let my rottweiler loose on one guy trying to break into our shed, never seen someone scale a 6' fence so fast. Had he hurt my dog I would have killed him, so he should consider himself lucky.
I bought a cheap Maverick 88 from Walmart for like $160, bought a shortened stock and barrel for it, and charge outside with no shirt on like Rambo if I think I hear mischief. Does a couple of things: Scares any would be thieves, and makes my neighbors think I'm totally insane so they don't #### with me.

I don't think you can find a sub $200 shot gun anywhere else

that most likely isn't connected to a homicide, but I could be wrong. And something that has killed a man may be your thing, I wouldn't judge.
Oh, I've also looked at getting something like this: http://www.northerntool.com/shop/tools/product_200420113_200420113

The Maverick 88 is a plenty good shotgun. That was Joonyer's first, and he still has it. He's got finer shotguns now, but that old Maverick is workhorse that has brought home dove, quail, turkey, and duck over the years.

Most people in my neighborhood do not have garages
1) very close to the city 2) Don't live in a cookie cutter house 3) everything around me was built in the 50's-70's 4) If they do have a garage that wasn't converted into a room it's probably small as shid

Oh, right. When your wife cleans the house, her mentality isn't "I'm gonna open the garage door and throw this so I don't have to look at it, THIS HOUSE IS CLEAR."

Sigh.........that's not my garage.

My garage mahal can hold 4 cars, and I have a shed outside for the lawnmower and other outdoor stuff so I don't even have to sully my car space with yard implements.
No, when looking at houses, I walked into the garage first, and if it passed muster, only then agreed to look at the rest of the house.

Good lord man...if the car isn't good enough to let sit up on your living room furniture, then what's the point of having one in the first place?!?!!? Might as well chain it up to a tree in the back yard next to an empty water dish.

arlo.com
and it was made all the difference in matching up this ###### with other break ins in the area to build a long list of charges before the warrant was put out a couple of days ago. This is him checking to see if my garage door is unlocked then scoping out my car. It was locked, so he moved on. I wish I'd have had the alert set. He hit two neighbors that night that weren't so lucky. It blew up on social media and even made the local news. He doesn't have a chance.
