Looks like Frank Martin is up to his old stuff again

Nov 12, 2014, 1:22 PM

No way a kid that could play in the ACC goes to a cellar dweller SEz team even with his connections to the coots.

I knew he was from a family of coots, but at one time I was told he wanted to go to unc. First sign of UNCheat's repercussions. Kid made a poor life decision today.

247Sports has three ACC teams in its top ten

Nov 12, 2014, 1:33 PM

of basketball recruiting classes for now - Louisville # 3; Florida State # 4; Syracuse # 6.

Kentucky could join the list if it gets the two top 10 players announcing tonight at 6:00 PM.

Everyone thought he was headed to Louisville. RP was in Columbia twice last week for the final push.

It is a major win for Martin. Now he has to build the rest of the team. But this kid is good enough to energize a program. The next piece is Seventh Woods. That kid is a player also.

Interesting none of those three are the original power ACC teams. 2 just entered the league and 1 has never been that great at basketball. The ACC and the Big East ruled basketball for a long time and now they are basically combined into one. That could rival what the SEC has done to take over football. The difference is Florida Lsy auburn and Bama took over football for awhile and the ACC basketball opportunities are endless with Louisville unc duke Syracuse etc

He is a couple college srasons from making ANY difference , a solid player but in no way an instant game changer. I have my doubts about Martin , he is a known cheater who rode a couple good seasons at KState into a better job ...but has done zilch since he got to Columbia.
Brad Brownell is a much better x's and o's coach and seems to develop talent pretty exceptionally.
Tip it OFF !
