came out in him.I always thought Uga could stand on its on merits, but I was wrong..Now its ALL Bama all the time, when its not the SEC .He actually said 5 sec teams couldv'e won the National Title. Nausea .....Lost my appetite Also added spread offense could not move the ball against the SEC.Do they really believe this stuff? They are all gonna be on suicide watch late in the evening Aug 31.

Nuk were just ungodly good.
We weren't lucky to win, but we made clutch play after clutch play after clutch play.

I would tend to disagree. We made multiple costly mistakes that put us in a hole. We dominated that game statistically.

But of course that is not how it works.

Please tell me what five ACC teams could have beaten Notre Dame last year. Truth be told, there weren't five ACC teams that could have beaten Vanderbilt.

I'm a dawg fan and I don't think that, because that's what Texas A&M ran last year and beat Alabama and Florida ran it when Meyer was there. Now on the amount of teams with a chance at the title I would say probably 4.

Can't speak for your buddy, but he may have meant 5 teams could've beaten ND...of course, I'm sure there were several ACC that could've done the same...
Good luck this season & Go Dawgs!!

Do you think they caught it from the coots, or does it just come naturally? I don't remember the other teams trying so hard to be included with their conference so much until the coots picked up on it. Now it seems to have caught on. Kind of like migrating to the lowest common denominator.

SEC teams that have had success with the Spread Offense or spread concepts like formations, HUNH, and the read/option since 2008:
Florida under Urban Meyer- 5 years: 36 SEC victories, 1 undefeated conference regular season, 2 SEC championships, 2 national championships Arkansas under Petrino- 4 years: 17 SEC victories Arkansas under Gus Malzahn- 2 years: 11 SEC victories Auburn under Gus Malzahn- 4 years: 15 SEC victories, undefeated season, SEC championship, 1 national championship Vanderbilt under James Franklin- 2 years: 7 SEC victories, best 2-season win total since 1926-27 2012 Texas A&M- 1 year: 6 SEC victories, upset of no. 1 ranked Alabama in Tuscaloosa, only two losses by a total of 8 points South Carolina when qb'd by Connor Shaw- 2 years: 12 SEC victories
The HUNH spread offense is a mathematically superior scheme. There is selection bias in the typical arguments against it, as the offense itself is designed to allow smaller programs to be competetive offensively without the giant blue chip offensive lineman and 230lb 4.4 40 tailbacks that programs like LSU and Alabama field. When you get a program with elite talent on both sides of the ball running the HUNH spread, things like 2012 Texas A&M or 2005-2010 Florida happen.
