Definitely. God wanted Syracuse to beat Miami in order for Dabo to play in the ACC Championship. That's exactly what it was. God was rewarding Dabo.and punishing Miami s coaches and players, as well as their fans. It all came down to Dabo's relationship with God.

I have a hard time believing God cares about football outcomes. Crazy as it sounds they're are a lot of good, God fearing people in every fan base. With all the problems in the world, all of them are more important and worthy of the lords time than football. Whether you win a game, or lose a game, at the end of the day it's just a game.

That's why sometimes he misses tragic wars, genocide, starvation, trafficking of children etc etc. God is very caught up in Dabo and the ACC Championship. The proof is right in front of you. I really don't think they will win the championship but I know it's very possible. Sometimes God works in ways we can't comprehend. His ways aren't our ways. Sometimes bad people get good results in life and vice versa.
I do believe that God will sometimes have things happen for the good of His kingdom. Sometimes bad things happen to good people for the good of His kingdom. Not sure but Clemson is in the ACC championship so let's enjoy the ride.

As a pastor I know I should leave this post alone but........the Bible says it rains and the sun shines on both the just and the unjust. Yes, God can and does work all things for the good of those that love Him and are called according to His purpose. I know you meant well but Your comment suggests God caused Miami's demise to make a way for this team to redeem its loss today. And what if SMU rolls big next week? And hands us a new level of embarrassment and frustration? Which is likely. Does that mean Dabo lost favor with Him? Does it mean all the other God loving coaches and players should be winning? I think God is more concerned with using our circumstances to change us within. Outcomes of games are far less important than the outcome of hearts and souls. God gives us abilities and opens doors but we are bound by personal responsibility to make the most of it. I appreciate Dabo's faith but he's still bound to make Clemson the best it can be. If this slide continues God may open another door for him. The good news is if he truly loves Christ, following God's will, it will work to Dabo's best, as God computes what is best.
