I'm thinking his handlers is putting this out there to see if the dirt peckers will give him more money. If not then he may very well transfer. I would think Colorado, Notre Dame, Miami would be a few that would show interest.
Personally I would hope he stays or goes to Miami or Florida State so the Tigers can get another crack at him especially will Sammy Brown as a full time Starter.

There seems to be some smoke behind this rumor. I work with several Auburn grads and this is a hot topic.
If Auburn or a lot of schools want Sellers they will get him. It is all about the $$$.

I'd love to never have to face Sellers again, but they do just fine in the NIL department and can afford to pay him a 7 figure sum if that's what he is looking for. Unless he just hates Columbia and wants to get out--which I don't see... they took a chance on him and let him run with the job this year-- he isn't leaving. South Carolina will basically just have to let him name his NIL figure and find a way to pay it. They'd be insane not to.
