I’ll say, I’m seeing this a lot for the 2025 kids for a lot of schools. Can’t put my finger on why but I’m sure these kids are getting ridiculous offers almost nonstop.

All of them have been on the defensive side of the ball & I don’t think it is a coincidence. Clemson no longer fields elite defenses especially with this analyst tying to be a coordinator. As bad of a coordinator as he has been, he even worse of a recruiter. Clemson’s defense won’t even crack the top 50 defenses this year. As far as I am concerned that’s unacceptable!

We lost the QB (and we put all our eggs in his basket), meaning we had to scramble for a 3 Star guy just to have some depth.

It’s called 21 million dollar salaries, plus the NIL.
We are saving as much 💰 as we can to get the players we need when we find out exactly how it’s going to work.
85 players paid no walk ons we will need more players & we’ll have money to go get them!

Every player on the team MUST receive some of that 20 million. It's called REVENUE SHARING. IT IS NOT NIL MONEY. SINCE EVERY PLAYER CONTRUBUTES TO GENERATING THE REVENUE, EVERY PLAYER MUST RECEIVE A SHARE. I AM SURE SOME MSY RECEIVE MORE THAN OTHERS. BUT, I GUARANTEE YOU THERE MUST BE A FORMULA IN PLACE THAT IS OBJECTIVE AND CAN WITHSTAND A COURT CHALLENGE BY OTHER PLAYERS RECEIVING LESS. SINCE NIL PAYMENTS ARE PRIVATE SECTOR PAYMENTS, ANOTHER PLAYER CAN'T COMPLAIN ABOUT THAT TO THE SCHOOL OR A COURT OF LAW. BUT SINCE REVENUE SHARING IS TEAM PAYMENTS, IT BETTER BE Fair for all concerned and there better be a defensible formula in place to make it fair and defensible. Paying ex players is going to be really interesting. It is one BIG clusterfark.

This recruiting class, for lack of a better word, is dog ####. Sure, we’ve got some nice players here or there, but we’re not even hitting at replacement rate, and the kids we’re replacing the decommits with, are downgrades. On the bright side though, admins are typically slow to fire as they worry about losing incoming recruits, but with this class, most have already left, so we don’t have much to lose. Time for some wholesale changes on both sides of the ball.

It's the best method of keeping a good player after you've invested time and money in his development.
You guys are just going to have to get over it. Dabo is not going portal crazy and having key players enticed away for a bigger pay check just before our post season starts. Imo, it's foolish.
Almost all of the guys who leave have been told they won't make the rotation next season. We have no idea who Dabo may have recruited to replace them and won't know for sure until the LOIs are signed.
