I was, occasionally, a sharp little fella. I recall in school one day, my teacher said, "Whoever answers my next question can go home.! I tossed my bag out the window.
"Who just threw that?", she asked.
"Me! I'm outta here!", I beamed. (No sense discussing future events...)
It's humbling to consider all we go through as we age...be it gracefully, or otherwise. Take for instance, this reality:
At 25, many of us played football.
As we approached 40, we took up tennis.
As our 50s dawned, golf became the object of our attention.
Bottom line: we grow older and the balls are smaller.
And in closing...
Common sense is NOT a gift...it's a PUNISHMENT because you have to deal with EVERYONE who doesn't have it!
