You could always count on his headgear being wrong.

I wish Herbstreit, Rece Davis, Chris Fowler and David Pollock would all go to Fox or somethin' and start their own show.
Let ESPN have Pat Mcafee and all the other idiots that he'll bring on board

Retiring at almost 90. He maxed it out. It's time, but I will miss him the way he was maybe 10 years ago. A lot of ESPN haters, but I appreciate them.

I'd bet Herbstriet had a lot to do with him staying so long.

Had it not been for him ESPN would have fired Corso years ago.

At the Clemson GA game in Charlotte I saw him up close and walking from stage to trailer. I knew then he was close to hopefully retiring.

been let go by ESPN was that Gameday was the only thing keeping him alive. He's been akin to the last year of Biden for like a decade now. I met him in the tinyass airport in College Station when we played there in 2018, very genuine and gracious fella. Hope he lives another 20 years.

at Clemson and they'd all stay for the game. He was always gracious and fun to talk to. One year we got a picture with him and put a Clemson hat on him, he was a good sport and laughed about it.
