they were detailing Saban’s ability to make the gutsy calls mid-game (onside kick vs Clemson and benching Hurts vs UGA) and how those calls led to Natty’s.

I know it’s a bit of recency bias, but just makes me wish Dabo made those gutsy calls more often. To say, no risk, no reward. Having bold, non-emotional decision making is crucial.

Pretty much like our failed fake field in the Bowl game. You only talk about plays that work years after.

Put a freshman QB in tight game on his own end zone to throw interception or add little razzle dazzle on a kick return that a kid drops after advancing 20 yards and suddenly the sharks come out to call it stupid……

But if either had worked would have been genius.
