Who ya got? I am going to go out on not much of a limb, and pick the perpetually grumpy, but OH, so talented Brooks Koepka. He was in the hunt last year, and let it slip through his fingers. Of all the LIV defectors, he is one that has not gotten "fat and happy", and still can compete at the highest level. That is mostly because, he was ALWAYS driven just by majors. He could care less about a regular golf tournament. And, by winning the PGA last year, he assured that he will be IN all four majors for the foreseeable future, regardless of what happens with LIV versus the PGA Tour. I think he dons the Green Jacket on Sunday. He might even crack a hint of a smile.

Hard to bet against Scottie Scheffler (+400) with his recent play.
But based on payoffs, I like Jon Rahm (+1200) Brooks Koepka (+2000) Wyndham Clark (+3000) Viktor Hovland (+3300) Cam Smith (+4000) Lucas Glover (+12000)
Do not be surprised if Phil Mickelson (+12500) shows up big for a couple of rounds. And go Glover!

I am hoping Wyndham Clark can win it, but would not be surprised if it was not Scheffler or Rahm.

around there, you WILL be escorted off the premises, and possibly banned from ever returning. They mean business. A friend of mine found this out the hard way several years ago when he tried to ignore the camera ban. Now, HE is banned for life.

In the most recent LIV event in Miami he shot 69 77 77. Moreover, after putting with a blade his entire career he switched to a mallet two weeks ago. I’ll go with the favorite, Scottie Scheffler. My long shot favorite is Ludwig Aberg.

confident in it. And, he has shown in the past, his form coming into a major means ZILCH. He finds another gear in the big tournaments.

Scottie and Jon would get my $$$ put on them if I were a betting man.
*** Sahith took last week off to get to Augusta early and prepare . . . He placed 9th last year . . . Of my sentimental favorites, he gets my nod. ***

Scottie looked incredible He’s #1 right now for a reason
Cool to see Lucas and Ricky Fowler coming around together
Woods swing looked good, played with Valatoris
Cantlay, JThomas, and Speith clearly had a $$ game working…
If you haven’t been, get there early and leave when they make you One of the best, and unexpected, amazing days of my life. What a ride it’s been from Tigers in LA to Tiger swinging 5ft away on both sides 12 and 17 yesterday 😁

Sadly, I think a LIV guy wins it this year. Koepka, Rahm, Niemann, or Cam Smith will all be in the hunt.

Scheffler Clark Zalatoris. But it will likely be a little known underdog.

Sentimental hope that Tiger makes the cut and plays the weekend. Though I think it's a longshot.
