i could see the media putting us in the top ten to in order to hype up our game with fsu as two top ten teams playing each other it looks better in their eyes.also could only see us moving up one because ark is the only team above us who lost

My thinking: Obviously, we move up 1 with Arkansas careening to the basement.
The guys right behind us (Wisconsin, Ohio State, Nebraska) didn't exactly set the woods on fire, so nobody is jumping us.
So, where do we get that extra vote? I'd suggest Seth Emerson, the clown from the Macon paper who last week had us something like No. 21 and Wisconsin No. 6 ... obviously that's going to change.
Then there's Glenn Gullible (or somesuch) from Gannett who had us No. 20, but Wisconsin at No. 9 and UNC at No. 13 ... which will need to be adjusted.
How about Scott Wolff from LA, who had Arkansas, Wisconsin and Utah ranked above Clemson?
In all 13 voters had Wisconsin above Clemson. They'll have to drop the Badgers, giving us some possible wiggle room.
My feeling is that pollsters will be in a mood to punish some folks this week and start making moves for their teams, like Tennessee and the BB Heads. With all that churn, and with no real strong candidates immediately ahead, I think no. 10 is very doable.
