One is chocolate chip pie, the other is apple pie. Both are homemade.
Which one should I eat?
The chocolate chip pie is one of my favorites, but it's a favorite of everyone else too. So If I eat the chocolate chip pie, there won't be much left for anyone else. I'm not really a fan of apple pie, but this one is pretty dang good. It's possibly one of the best I have ever had and it has apples which makes it a healthy option. The chocolate chip pie has bourbon in it and y'all know how much I like my bourbon. I don't have any vanilla ice cream, so that doesn't play a role in my decision. If I don't eat the apple pie, I'm not sure if anyone else will and it could become trash and it's too good to become trash. Oh ##### it, I'm going to have both.

I've never thought about it in that context until recently, and it makes me really uncomfortable. I feel like we'd probably not speak to each other for 6 months or so....I know he'd be totally embarrassed, I wouldn't know what to say..Every time you made eye contact with him it'd be like a having a Nam flashback or something

know about, but we all knew, because pretty effin' obvious. My Grandmother would usually make a lemon meringue pie that people thought was ok, but weren't clamoring for, and a chocolate creampie (lutz) that errbody loved. Grandaddy would spend a couple hours putting WORK on the chocolate creampie, maximizing his pie intake, so that the rest of us might get a small slice and he'd probably crush half of that pie.
Then, he could leisurely eat the lemon meringue pie by himself over the next few days.
