We have the talent, now we have an elite DC. We still gotta clean up special teams, but I am really excited for next year.

Next season needs to be the one because we lose a lot of talent after 2025. We definitely need a punter and I'd love to see us pick up a couple of other key talents in the next portal window in April to give us some depth for the long season.

Portal players arent transferring to be depth

Plus the ones coming out in the spring are leaving their team because they don’t like where they stood on the depth chart following spring practice. Those guys aren’t moving to be depth. There are no elite teams building “depth” in the portal. Transfers coming in are to shore up starting positions. Part of the game - you lose a bunch to the portal and you have to bring a bunch more in through the portal. There’s no proof the portal is making elite teams better.

Not enough talent on defense. Also missing a gamechanger at RB. The defense depth is a big drop from the 1's to the 2's. I think playoffs and win 1 or 2. It will take lucky health and the turnovers will have to keep going our way.

A bit more Depth at DE, DT and LB.

Another safety would help too.

Also, need 2 RB's to step up (1 needs to step up big time)

I wouldn't mind an experienced RB out of the portal to help out while the other guys take the time needed to develop. At least have some experience in the rotation.

We have to stay extremely healthy, fix special teams in many areas, and hope that some young dudes step up for depth, and I than I think we are a legit somewhat dark horse contender.
