What's really lost lightbulbbill is Bama in 2018 was another juggernaut team who ran into a better juggernaut. TCU in 2022 was a gutty team but far from a juggernaut. Unsure how TCU beat MICH -- but they left it all on the field that day with no reserve for the next game.

Bama beat’em soundly after they beat The Beloved Tigers soundly the week before.

Emotional let down is a real thing dealing with 18 - 22 yr old kids.

scoks off of TCU. Imo the 44-16>65-7. Bama's 16 point team would have scored at least 35 against the dwags.

Our defense that year was the GOAT, literally.

That 44-16 game gave us recognition as the "Greatest Team Ever." Bama went into the game with a description as the best team ever and we destroyed them. Not long ago it was posted here where because of that game and year we were rated the best team ever by a national sports news organization. Most agree that Clemson team was the best since time began.
