Law firms rebalance their (Dem) political leanings - return to focus on business

News at 11 …

Big law firms are not the ‘true believers in liberal causes’ that much of the American public had concluded by witnessing their leftist leanings over the past ~15 years.

They are reviewing their leftist politics and making adjustments to be more amenable to Trump because doing so is better for business.

Shocker (uhhh, no).

Pretty much the same thing you're seeing with the big tech firms as well as much of the rest of the corporate world. Most of them don't believe in left wing racist BS but are forced to pretend otherwise as part of tbe left wing protection racket where they are forced to parrot "the message" or risk having their companies literally destroyed.

Lawyers are probably the most misunderstood profession.....

Along with politicians actually. Both for similar reasons.

Lawyers and politicians go after money, and whatever politics gets you the pot of gold, they're on board.

This is how and why you have lib and pub politicians playing golf on weekends while trashing each other in front of microphones all week. Same with lawyers. It's just money. It's just a job.

Trying to strong arm private law firms into their own ideology.

Thanks. Only stick to traditional conservative ideology please.

From reading this particular post of yours, one might conclude that law firms such as your employer only change philosophies when MAGA represents the politically dominant entity.

Did this ‘philosophical’ shift escape you when Obama / Biden went full-on DEI during that era of their political dominance?

lobbying arm in several states as well as in DC. Guess what, we have folks from both sides of the aisle in the lobbying group and always have. That, my MAGAt seduced friend, is good business.

You are absolutely correct.

Law firms show their leftist side when doing so is good for business. They show their RINO / MAGA side when doing that is good for business.

A partisan faction of the American public gets giddy when some hired gun legal big shot speaks out publicly about an issue that supports their political side. The partisans enjoy the self-delusion that their side is ‘correct’ because the legal big-shot’s comments ‘prove’ their righteousness.

Notice how Corporate America does the same thing. Their ‘philosophies’ change with the wind.
