Bigs - hands of stone, too many bobbles, TO's, not very skilled scorers. Also are not rim protectors. Rarely block shots.
Guards not very good handles, don't pass all that well. Can't execute a bounce pass off a pick and roll.
Best player on team looks and plays like he doesn't want to be there.
No outside shooters / snipers. Should've busted that zone up. As a coach I had these types: they would be pretty good practice players but when the lights came on, they disappeared, never performed. 3 and 7 remind me of those types of players.
Team looks like it lost all spirit and confidence somewhere along the way.
The one adustment I would've tried, but Brownell is not smart enough to do this: float a good spot shooter into the middle of that soft zone in the lane area. It could be Chase for that matter. Someone who is comfortable receiving, spinning, shooting, or drive and kick out. Lachiness should just be placed on the weak side on the back, not float into the middle. He's not a skilled enough player to handle it.
Other than this, Brownell should've turned the team over to assistants at half time and gone to the phones and started recruiting out of the portal or looking at other teams on TV. and get some real basketball players in there, and a much deeper bench.
