many acting ho-hum about it.
This game is big despite VT's struggles but our media and fans have not grasped that. I hope that our team has.

Every game for us is huge. If we want to be a bi time program, we have to bring the "A" game every week, no matter who we pay. The atmosphere in the stands by the team and by the fans should reflect that goal, as well, every single week.

TigerNet has too many "gates" going on...ACCgate, BCSgate, WCCPgate, etc. So, you're going to have to keep up the fine efforts to keep everyone in FOCUS...FOCUS...FOCUS! GOOOOOO TIGERRRRRRRRRRS! BEAT THE H3LL OUTA THE HOKIES!!!!!!!!!

Hah, problem is that even the most delusional VT fans can't talk smack at this point. My only hope is that we hold you under 50. And with SC's loss last week we can't even come over here and poke you about them! 
But hey, any given Saturday and all that... crazier things have happened right?

only the SEC matchups matter...They all keep repeating how bad the ACC is and how worthless we should feel for being in this league...Unfortunately this takes a toll on folks who would otherwise be excited for a match up like this...Only time would tell whether this will eventually be the end of college football as we know it.

It's not the media. VT is unranked at 4-3 with losses to 2 Big East schools, UNC and no good wins. They are dangerous, but are a shell of the old VT.

I think the only really good player they had last season was Jayron Hosley at CB, and he appears to have gone to the NFL early as I don't see him on their roster.
I have been underwhelmed at their performance, and Duke had them stopped dead, but they didn't have the depth to maintain that lead. We have the depth to do that. Bud Foster is probably having nightmares right about now.

Yup, Jayron plays for the Giants now. As does David Wilson, who was drafted in the 1st round.
I assure you that Bud is not having nightmares... that would require him being able to get any sleep to begin with!

They had a pretty good WR in Danny Coale. Same kid that got robbed of (I think) a TD catch in OT of their bowl game loss. Looks like Dallas picked him up.
