When you say "No Chance", did you think Vandy would beat Bama last week?

Seeing Ryan Day and Shane Beamer with a lugubrious look on their faces would be awesome.
Would like to see USC put Penn State down for the count. Penn State starts out undefeated every year until they actually play a team with a pulse and USC can beat them, but they are also known for crapping the bed when it matters

Last week's upsets are far from the norm in College Football. Here's my take

of the upcoming weekend slate:
#1 Texas(5-0) at Oklahoma (4-1) - Unfortunately BV's Sooner's aren't very good on offense and scoring points will be a problem for Oklahoma. Texas, on the other hand, has shown very little problem with scoring points. I would love for BV to get a win here but seriously doubt that is in the cards for this week.
#2 Ohio St.(5-0) at #3 Oregon (5-0) - This one will be a fun one to watch. Ohio State spent $20 million in the off-season buying their roster. I would like nothing more than to see that money go down the tubes in a loss to Oregon. Does Dan Lanning have the "umph" to do it?? We'll find out Saturday night.
#4 Penn St (5-0) at USC (3-2) - Every year Penn State and their whiny coach (James Franklin) are hyped up products of the Northeast sports writers. Likewise, every year they get exposed and ultimately shid the bed. I could perfectly see them soiling the bedsheets this weekend...
#5 Georgia (4-1) vs Mississippi St (1-4) - UGA is going to treat that Miss State bulldog like it is a chew toy.
#7 Alabama (4-1) vs South Carolina (3-2) - Fresh off the Vandy loss, there will be no mercy left in Bama's tank when they take the field against USuC. Bama will be on a mission of redemption and the fact that the chickens happen to be their opponent this Saturday just proves the chicken curse is alive and well.
#8 Tennessee (4-1) vs Florida (3-2) - If this game was in Florida the Gators might have a chance...of Hurricane Milton causing this game to be canceled. Since cancellation is the only way for Florida to avoid losing to Tennessee and that ain't gonna happen because the game is being played in Knoxville there will be no upset found here.
#9 Ole Miss (5-1) at LSU (4-1) - Playing at night in Baton Rouge is a definite advantage to LSU. This one could be interesting - can Brian Kelly finally win a big game?? Until Kelly proves he can I'm thinking Ole Miss walks out of Baton Rouge with a win.
#10 Clemson (4-1) at Wake Forest (2-3) - The Clemson Tigers are going to stay humble, focused and hungry. This Tiger team is on a mission and as long as we don't have a complete off day - I expect our Tigers to continue to improve while earning win number 5 for the season.

tabbyplague® I agree with your list 100%
Wondering if you think Cal has a shot of beating Pitt? Or who you like between Arizona State and Utah(both 4-1)?

And...it's not Tex. at Oklahoma. They will be on a really neutral field, when you check the distance btwn Norman to Dallas vs. Austin to Dallas. With all the Sooner have going against them Saturday, they could really use a home game. 😄

My weekly ten-game selections last week had Alabama beating Vanderbilt.
Two others missed were La-Monroe beating James Madison and SMU beating Louisville.
Yes, I selected Arkansas over Tennessee … and six others

I think taking USC would be a fair gamble.
OU doesn't have a pulse on offense so I don't see anything happening there.
UT could have a hangover game for sure but not likely
