Fall 97 - Spring 98.
Had a waterbed (can't hide classy) catch fire, and Scott just moved us a couple units down the hill....he never refurbed the old place while I was there. Also busted out the kitchen window in that unit throwing a stain stick at my roommate.
You'll probably recall the beautiful view of the sewer treatment plant when the leaves would fall off the trees.

and semi under the radar.
I think rent was around $650/month for a 2 BR. We lived right by the outdoor cable box so cable was free NOMESAYIN. Total shathole, but amazing value for the bread. Short walk to campus, far away from the police.

Try 5. Like 365 x 5. Never went home for a summer.
Here's how it works: Move into place A for the summer prior to freshman fall. Move into place B (Johnstone) for fall/sprang. Place C the following summer. Place D and E that fall/sprang. Place F for the summer. Then G/H for fall/spring.
With me so far? Mmmmmk. We are now 3 years in.
I for the summer, J/K fall/spring.
L for the summer, M for the fall, then N for the spring.
That's how you do it. Move a lot, own a little. And chase cheap spots to stay. Have more money for hookers and blow. Profit, graduate, and slay the poosay.

They only have a pic of the dumpster

which is fitting, cause this place was as bad as the dumpster. I think it was $360/month, split by 4. No more than 1 person should have lived in those things.
If they were in section 8 housing.

I lived at the Woodlands for a semester and then riverbank commons for a semester and then these two places for a year or so each. These two places were where the fun was had. The first included an enormous boat party between the two buildings. It lasted about two hours before it got shut down.

This one was where I lived the last few years and all of my best friends lived in this neighborhood which was perfect because if I got hammered I could just walk home. here: https://www.google.com/maps/place/Riverbank+Properties+Real+Estate/@34.6784868,-82.807837,3a,60y,77.95h,83.23t/data=!3m6!1e1!3m4!1sbKn-dgxuJsgkNV0CWrDG-g!2e0!7i13312!8i6656!4m5!3m4!1s0x88585e6068d9fe7f:0x48e55fcf97127854!8m2!3d34.694516!4d-82.841469!6m1!1e1

be doing this and complaining because they didn't have an outside fireplace, or that only the kitchen countertops were granite.
If I lived in some of that housing now, I'd stay in school as long as possible, too.

So Harts Cove was perfect. Plus, it was relatively cheap ($1400, or $350/ person) for a place with 4 bedrooms and 4 baths. And, because it was just on the edge of Seneca, the police never came.

LeMans 95/96, Cedarwood 96/97, Brookdale(Pendleton) 97/98, and then a barn loft studio apt in central 98--- that was up next to the Isaqueena forest. ####, I love that place.
