we began a string of 6 straight playoff appearances. We promoted from within and the recruiting and performance was elevated. That duo had their first game against Oklahoma, along with our current QB coach.

2014 was a lot like this year. Struggling offense and an elite defense. But the talent was in place. It is again. Expect the same formula, the same griping from those who always gripe, and for Dabo to once again show he's ahead of the curve

Agree with everything besides the new portal factor. Whoever wants to leave can just walk out.

That was before NIL, a portal that allows players to transfer and play immediately. The game has changed and we don’t appear to be changing with it.

and as much as Brent was loved by his players, that constant is more so. He's the ultimate reason Clemson is a destination school. Kids aren't transfering by and large who are actually playing

Wow, he sure did - along with most of his recent tweets. He did express his love for Venables less than 2hr ago but you'd never know he played at Clemson except for older tweets.
