Friday night, Silverada at Radio Room, it was a blast and way more fun than when I saw them as Mike and the Moonpies at the old RR location. The new location is far superior as far as room and being able to avoid the wanna-be-seens.

Saturday, up early to publish newest YouTube video. the native plant sale at Conestee Park. I somehow never put two and two together that the G-Braves played out there. Then to Lowe's for some mulch and then yardwork and studying for a test I've got on Friday.

Sunday, work on the next YouTube video and more studying.

Friday decided to not go to an event at Roper Mt because 85 is ticky enough on Friday afternoon without random storm blowing through so sat on the porch, watched softball and baseball get run rule wins, and enjoyed the rain

Saturday up early to head to Rock Hill to judge some bbq and ribs. Had some good and some ok. Caught up with folks I haven’t seen since last year. Drove by my grandmothers old house and was glad to see it was in better shape than last year. Someone has replaced the broken windows and fixed the foundation. Ran by Glencairn Garden to take few pictures for my mom. Sadly did not make arrangements to meet up with RH. Back home to watch Clemson baseball and softball get tight wins.

Sunday lunch with mom, drove her out to Croft State Park got home after Softball got the sweep and baseball went flat.

Twas good

Did get her out for some great sunshine and crisp air, same for grandma Pabst.

Then had an amazing steak Sunday dinner at beef & bottle in Charlotte.

Honestly great, relaxing weekend.

Friday (Good)- Bought a new chair. Rearranged the living room for it. That totally messed with the nazi sheppard's mind. "Zis is not correct!" Met some friends for pre-birthday drinks.

Saturday (Bad) - Maria's birthday. The weather sucked and we couldn't find anything indoors that she wanted to do. Hell, I even volunteered to go to an artsy fartsy film festival but she didn't want to. I felt terrible about it. She is one of nine siblings so your birthday was your day growing up and it still is. I failed for the first time in a long time.

Sunday (Great) - Afternoon and early evening with the fam at Incendiary. It's our favorite hang when the weather is good. Kids and dogs running around. A jazzy band playing classic rock. Honey Blondes and Jasmin Rice Lagers flowed freely.

First time in a very long time that I didn't watch any of the Masters and barely even kept up with it this year. Maybe even felt a little guilty last night at the Beaver when someone pointed up at the TV between songs and said that Rory had won it.

may soon need a vacation from being retired.

Wednesday, Ellis Bullard at the Thirsty Beaver.

Thursday, farewell gathering for another coworker who jumped off the sinking ship and is headed for greener pastures. That's number 9 from a team of 16 since January, LOL. Met at The Journeyman Irish Pub at 5:30 and closed it down around 10:00.

Friday, Lake Wylie Brewing to watch a friend play solo acoustic for a couple of hours, came home and made pizzas, might have watched something on TV...I don't remember.

Saturday, 10-year anniversary of the original location of Hobo's Bar & Grill in Fort Mill. All-day music on the outdoor stage, another old RH pal's band Crashbox was the headliner. The band was great as always, but we were underdressed for how cold it got and bailed on the third set.

Sunday, back to the Thirsty Beaver for the D1ck and Tammy Show, the side project band of Justin Clyde Williams and Tyler Hatley and it was an absolutely phenomenal show. Well worth seeing these guys solo but the full D&T band was something special.

190/19, lots of live music and lots of liver exercise.

this week for their spring break.

Up early Saturday for daughter to play in beach volleyball tourney. They finished 5th, first time playing with this partner, took them a while to get going. Finished 4-2 with the two losses being to the teams that finished 1 and 2. Tough draw. Back home to clean up again because wife is a neat freak. Started at 3:30 and she finished cleaning around 10:00. During some of that I cleaned, during other parts I took the truck for a State Inspection and oil change. Then took it to the car wash to get her yearly bath and sand removal. Car wash removed the red plastic off the driver side tail light so now I have to replace that (should be delivered today). Need no reason for Cops to pull me over leaving Carolina Beach. Otherwise, the truck never gets driven.

Sunday tried to sleep in, wife went to gym, I watched some TV (Mallrats and Big Lebowski were on IFC). Friends got here and we ended up at the beach for a couple hours, took the youngest pups.

Now they are all up getting ready to go to the beach for the day and I am working from my office. Yaaaay!!!

Messican places on their ability to make a Chile Poblano. If that’s good, you can just about bet the rest of the menu is ahhite. Well, they used the pasteurized cheese and the red sauce was middlin’ at best. So started the culinary weekend with a sold drive into the fairway bunker.

Yard work, Satdee. Smoke a poke butt while I worked. Mrs. Slac made minner cheese and berled eggs for the egg salad sammiches. Watched goff , had porch dranks with neighbors. Lawd, they got some loud chirruns.

Sunday skipped church…am heathen. Prepped stuff for Masters get together. Set up TVon porch, lotta neighbors stopped in for a drank and other Masters menu items. Didn’t do the tomato pies, maybe next year, tho I’ll be there Thursday Friday. Good time had by all. Good for Rory, dang if he didn’t make it interesting. Finished off the night with a couple THC sodas. Slept like a rock, I tell ya.

8 out of 10 McIlroys.

Friday--Went to the Southern for HH, got pretty hammered there, came home and got real hammered in my garage.

Woke up Saturday, pounded water for a few hours, got a haircut, later ended up at the Dinghy watching their singer songwriter thing. Got to catch Hans Wenzel do his thing, talked to him for a minute, then watched a few other people who ought to go back to singing in their showers. Came home, watched TV and went to bed.

Sunday, my new truck finally showed up from Illinois. Excitement turned to semipissed off when I saw scratches on it from where the hauler/truck driver got too close to some tree branches OTW down here. I waxed most of them out, but it still ticked me off.

Then I spent about an hour trying to figure out the linux server they call a radio. Holy crap GM, next time try and make it more complicated. Ram has it all over GM in this regard. But I like the truck. It's yuge. I've driven it about 20 miles, and it says its getting 5.8 mpg. That's a little lower than I expected. Don't care, still like it.

I have a garage full of trailer hitch mounts and none of them work for my boat and this truck, so I had to buy yet another one. After a few beers, it took a few hours to figure that out.

Got out of the soft splint and into a walking boot on Friday, so was able to leave the house for the 1st time in weeks, which felt great. Able to take the boot off and drive, so also back in the office today.

Saturday...watched a lot of golf. Took daughter-of to dinner at Full Circle Cafe in Anderson for pizza. Was actually pretty good and probably the best we've been able to find in Anderson, which isn't saying much. But solid wood-burning oven pizza.

Sunday...Made some awesome bacon/egg/cheese sammies with some bread the wife brought at local bakery. Watched the entire Masters broadcast and had a really good time watching. First year I haven't been in a good while, but enjoy watching Sunday on TV vs in-person. Happy Rory won.

Low-key weekend and happy to be able to walk (slowly) and get out of the house again.

Billy played a couple more awesome shows, interesting covers included Drifter's Escape, With a Vamp in the Middle, Tangled Up in Blue, All Time Low, and Fearless, gotta wait until June for some more shows, lame

Sleeping on 13th Street in Tybee by the ocean was very nice and quiet for both nights, beautiful chilly days on the beach, had some tasty shrimp from Bernie's and fresh fish from Bubba Gumbo's, Back River Brewery was good

Wood due again 10/10
