Last Good Oline?

Nov 10, 2022, 11:16 AM

Does anybody remember the last time we had really good Offensive lines? Yeah, it was when BRAD SCOTT was coaching them. Then he left to help Jeff and our Oline went to hell. Well I think he's probably available now.

We were 15-0 in 2018 and you can't be better than that. Results are the only votes that count.

Best Oline - not best team. Also, QBs (Watson and Lawrence) were able to cover for Oline mistakes. Lawrence would have won another Natty with a better Oline, in my opinion.

That's a good title for a movie or netflix series.

Yep! Never understood the loyalty to Caldwell-ex. Vandy coach who never won anything and stunk it up for so many years here

Since it's been a perpetual thorn I won't go so far as to name a unit but hear are our best 5 of the "natty era" in order based only on my opinion

G:John Simpson: Dominated at times at O.G.
T:Mitch Hyatt: Consistency and very few sacks
T:McFadden: similar to Hyatt as far as pass blocking
G:Tremanyne Anchrum: I will give him the edge over Jackson Carman, as Carman had a subpar last year
C: Cervenka with a slight edge over Taylor Hearn at C
