Lane Stadium stat...

Last weekend ODU brought 3,200 fans to Lane Stadium the most over by a visiting team. Apparently NCSU brought 2,500 a few years back. How many Tiger Faithful made the trip today??? I've never been to an away game when we didn't bring a ton of fans.

That doesn't sound accurate. Pretty sure we had more than that in 2011.

Plus, UVA doesn't bring more than ODU??? If true, this is a very odd stat.

I'm pretty sure we allot something like 4,200 tickets for the visiting team, and I know back in the day West Virginia and East Carolina would use em all up, and then some.

stadium. My guess is they give about 2500 tickets to the visiting team and outside of those they don't track "visiting" fans for people who buy up tickets elsewhere.

I went to the game in '06 and remember there being a block of Orange crammed into the corner of the stadium but I'm sure it was over 5000.
