I’d bet he stays in the Pros. Be an OC for a couple years and then get another chance as HC. College is now way more work, basically 365 days a year.

I never understood the hire to begin with. It's not like he had Texas Tech lighting up the college football world.

He had a losing coaching record at Texas Tech and Arizona, can't see why anyone would pay him mega bucks to coach.

It just goes to show that for most HCs, they are only as good as his 2 or 3 superstars. Without Murray and Hopkins for most of the season, he was doomed.

Would not mind seeing him in an advisor role just for the spring game but he'll be coaching somewhere by then.

This was always a weird hire. He was FIRED from his college job and then hired as an NFL head coach. Very strange order of events...I think he'll take a year off then be back with a college program.
