There was a big debate under the article about our record after 5 games.
That can be debated for at least the next 8 or 9 weeks.
But Klatt uses our last three years final rankings to establish his point. And then says Miami is better than us.
Yet for Miami was not ranked at all!
We all know our issues and what needs to be improved, but to use the past as his basis aint Jiving with me.

Check his history. He has always had a negative view of our program. The first sentence in the TigerNet articles says, "FOX lead college football analyst Joel Klatt hasn't shied away from some bold takes on Clemson football over the years." Bold takes have not been positive.

You know why same reason we always receive hate its because we dominate the ACC which they view as a non football conference until we get into a conference that is up to their standards we will never receive the poer other programs get

Give Klaus a break. If he reported what we all knew no one would care so he has to mix it up to get paid. From a Clemson there is no need to argue or sweat it as his reporting has no impact on the game. We will either get it done or we won’t as that is why we love the sport

I agree Bean, the past ain't playing.
We can move on from the last three down years and return to a elite program.
Hopefully lessons were learned from what lead to the fall off.

#1- it's a new season, #2-it's a new team with new players, #3- this 2024 team has new coaches that are M U C H better coaches than the ones they replaced, #4- we have two new WR's that both were listed at one time as 5 star receivers, #5- we have a new very athletic TE that should have been as a 5 star TE.
#6- Not a soul here on Tiger Net has a clue of how all these new pieces will benefit the new 2024 Tiger FB team!!!

Lots of "ifs" surrounding this team.
IF they all fall in line, could be a historic season.
If not, we continue regressing towards the mean.
I think Dabo is correct that the margin between 11-2 and 9-4 is a handful of plays. We saw that last year.
Let's hope we have those plays go for us this year.

He is pro Colorado (believe he's an alum), was pro PAC, and is now pro B10.
IMO since he can't downplay the SEC he instead doubles down on the ACC. He never gives ACC schools the BOTD.
