This guy is a winner. You can’t compliment him any better than by saying that. Good luck in your future.

I think he had the best year among all of our d-line. Underrated and underappreciated.
I hope he has a long and fruitful career in the NFL. But if he doesn't, he is one of those guys that you can be sure is gonna make a great contribution in whatever field of endeavor that he chooses. The epitome of a Clemson man.

I just hope if he comes back to Clemson as a coach he doesn’t automatically get branded as no good because he is a Dabo nepotism hire…..

He has a future as

An Athletic Director written all over him. Smart, committed, sensible, level-headed (If you met his mom, you'd know why!), focused.

He's severely underappreciated - at this point we just take for granted that he's going to quietly do his job. He's not flashy and he doesn't really make mistakes - just keeps his head down and makes plays. We'll absolutely miss him when he's gone - for his athleticism, but also just his knowledge out there.
On a related note - and I've maybe mentioned this before. But a couple years ago, I got into a pretty bad scooter wreck on Christmas morning. My ex's father had this Vespa scooter he'd been working on and asked me if I wanted to ride it. Zipping around the hills along Keowee, the throttle seemed stuck and wouldn't accelerate. Pulling into a cul-de-sac, I started messing with it and it took off - the throttle stuck open. He'd warned me about the brakes, but I panicked and forgot - the brakes locked up and I slid across a sidewalk, crushing several bones in my foot and ankle. The next day, my ex and I were to fly to Phoenix to see us play the Bucknuts in the Fiesta.
Anyway, this Doc-in-the-Box had given me a boot and crutches - telling me it was a bad sprain (it ended up being way worse than that.. not the best medical care on Christmas Day in Seneca). At the time, I believed this doc, so figured it would get better in a day or so. We land in Phoenix and I could barely get off the plane. My ex took off to get her luggage or something at the Phoenix airport and I was just standing off to the side, leaned up on my crutches and feeling miserable. This really tall woman came up behind me and asked if I needed help - I turned around and said I'd be okay. She asked if I was there alone and I said no, that my girlfriend was around somewhere. Regardless, she and her entire family - husband and her parents - they refused to leave me until my ex showed up, which ended up taking 15-20 mins. I told them I was fine, but they wouldn't hear it. Talking to them, it was KJ's entire family - they'd all flown out for the game and were getting their luggage when they saw me.
So.. never personally met KJ, but I have met a lot of his family - they are the nicest people ever and really went out of their way to ensure I was okay, even though it took more than a little time out of their day. I'll never forget them. So yea - he comes from a good family. I'll be a fan of his forever.
