According to rivals. Behind paywall, but i'm sure the info is already out there. Too bad we won't get to see TL show him in person who was the real #1. Don't think there will be much doubt anyway.

It is not any particular secret that both Fields and Matt Corral had their hands out this year, and to the same people.
If you didn't know what the game actually was there, it'd be fascinating that UGA somehow managed to convince Fields to commit to them, despite the fact that FSU clearly has themselves a massive Help Wanted sign at QB, and the fact that UGA has signed back-to-back 5-stars in Eason and Fromm...oh, and the fact that Fields in no way fits the UGA offense anyhow.
So it goes. But it just leaves you shaking your head how overt that staff is being. Especially as the Feds are starting to drag in basketball coaches left and right...do these football guys think it's really going to end there? An NCAA investigation is one thing, a Federal probe is quite another.

The fact that his style of play really doesn't match Georgia's offense is definitely weird. But Jalen Hurts really didn't fit Alabama's offense either but they added some different wrinkles to fit the offense to him.

Believe me when I say this, you guys got the ultimate QB in Georgia this year. You heard it here first ..... Fields is highly overrated and not anywhere near the player the press puts him out to be. Lawrence is the real deal & you will win another Natty with him. First time Fields gets hit in the mouth at the D1 level, he will go crying to momma. Book it.
