Beer fuels rout of Bears in 19-2 Clemson win Sunday
Clemson pounded out 19 runs and 22 hits and scored multiple runs in five different innings in a Beer-fueled rout of Maine Sunday afternoon, winning the rubber match of the season-opening series 19-2 at Doug Kingsmore Stadium. The fans love it, get all drunk and rowdy and fire up the players ... but Nooooooooo ! cause S. Carolina is so holy. Is is not true that Jesus drank wine at the Last Supper ? Is it not true that Benjamin Franklin himself said "beer is proof that God truly loves us" ? Seriously, beer sales would bring in great treasure to Clemson Athletics. LSU does it, L'ville does it, WVU does it, Maryland does it .... last I heard, no one has died.
