T-Net advice about acing this inspection? What exactly are they looking for? Will they notify Ms. The Mole of their findings?

My fear is that any abnormalities will be leaked to social media and I could come up short.

I thought paying the bill would be sufficient enough to ward off such intrusions. But, who bothers to read the Terms of Service?

They will most likely be checking for the following:

(1) sufficient clearing at the base to allow men to access your pole
(2) rigidity/stiffness
(3) any sign of bugs
(4) any identifying characteristics (e.g. moles)

You will be asked to turn your head and cough during the inspection.

But, I AM The Mole. Can I get an exemption?

Blue Ridge Co-op when he arrives. You may want to ask for his ID, but he will probably be wearing a purple helmet.

Went through this last week.

Relatively painless.

Didn't mind the crew pointing at my pole but the laughing was uncalled for...

At least you got notified by BRE. I have BRe and my house is about 1/4 mile off the road. Twice, I have had people drive up in work trucks to say they were supposed to do utility work. I was on the tractor and drove up the first ones. After asking a few questions it was obvious they weren't there for work because they couldn't be specific on they wanted to do. Thats the first and only time I've seen anyone back the full driveway to hide the license plate. It's a one lane road. The better half saw 2nd one. He said he was to look at tress to cut but wouldnt say where and when. He ended up leaving and she didnt think about getting the license plate number. Neither have come back after they were challenged. I called the office and they knew nothing of anyone that was supposed to come out. I can imagine what would have gone missing if no one had been home. Keep your guard up.

The pole is their responsibility. They simply are inspecting....

For insect infestation, rot of any kind, stability and vegetation. They will clear vegetation to get to the base of the pole. If you have any bushes or plants around it, you probably want to cut it back so that a person can fit around it; otherwise they will do it themselves without any consideration of what that will look like after they are done.

Some of the poles have protective sleeves that need to be removed in order to properly inspect them, so keep that in mind if yours is shielded.
