Why are new generation Dems so in favor of illegal immigrants being taken advantage of here in the US by rich Americans when they could be using their labor to help their home country develop and become stronger & wealthier ?
It seems the Dems of old would be vehemently opposed to this practice of abuse.

I see. Provide an easier path to citizenship for these workers that affords them labor protections and fair wages. Don't want to do that? Then they'll continue to be illegal and continue to work for less (even though it's exponentially more than they could make in their home countries).

The people running the left are big fans of illegals for a variety of reasons, but I can assure you that cheap labor and/or improving the illegals quality of life isn't among them.
