I think itās a fair assessment. We are objectively a small market team if you use professional equivalents, but that just makes the accomplishments of our teams across multiple sports that much more impressive

While only hypothetical, it just shows how being in the ACC devalues the program. Look at Washington, total football backwater aside from two successful years with Deboer and one with Petersen. Iowa and Michigan State? I lived in Michigan and they are not even remotely as passionate about the Spartans as we are. Shows how much we do with relatively less.

Honestly I think their assessments are way off, and it's funny that their article even state that Clemson was harder to assess then any other programs. Why is that? (Why is it always Clemson or Dabo?) Clemson has more attendance per football game then anyone in the ACC and would rank top 6 or 7 in SEC or top 5 in B1G , so the amount of monetary value shows up in this aspect of value. Clemson Facilities have been ranked top 5 for 10 years or better, and that would definitely show up as financial value.
In this evaluation, You got FSU like 4 spots ahead of us , and Miami a team with maybe 50K in attendance per game , ranked right there with us.. and a losing a$$ program USuC right there behind us...Now add up facilities, stadium attendance, TV audience, now head Coach record , and add in the amount of ACC Championships and national titles from our program , that would definitely put us in the top 10 or top 12 of most types of evaluations.
I'm sorry but these types of so called articles of evaluations do a disservice to Clemson as a football program, and guess what , they don't care, its their intent... Same way with ESPN , now all this NIL $$ , transfer portal , paying player$, it was a issue, up until now, and now it's not a issue with paying player$... So let's look at it this way, what team in college football has suffered in recruiting or now so-called perception more from all these rule changes ? Why is that? There are 9 SEC teams and 10 B1G teams ahead of us in this evaluation, why because of conference payout?? It seems to be the only thing they are using as their bases of evaluations , is the conference payout!! We know the ACC payout is hurting us now, we know we are worth so much more of a payout, and some how some way we will get more money, but in overall evaluation it should not hurt us that much , but it seems to be their bases of evaluation... Honestly there is no way our evaluation should be behind Iowa and Michigan State, or basically tied with Arkansas, these teams have never amounted to anything in championship football, give me a break...
Now lets look at the way they evaluate our Coach , he is getting downplayed in their so-called rankings also. Hypothetically if you put Dabo at any other top football school, say Notre Dame, Ohio State, Alabama , UGA , or Michigan , how would he be ranked then? We all know he would be ranked alot higher then their rankings of 7th through 11th, even more then what credit they give him now... also in that latest article from ESPN the writer states he dont understand why Dabo is not ranked higher.. why do these articles always spin it in a not understanding their own point of view...Dabo is top 3 , period, but they have him not where he belongs, they question their own point of view, with all this BS about well he hasn't won a championship in 6 years , uh yes ok! Let's understand very few ever play for the national championship and even fewer win it, so stop with that crap! Dabo is 180-47 for 80% win percentage, he has played for 4 national titles , he has won 2 national championships and has won 9 ACC Championships (Miami has won 0 ACC Championships in 24 years)... it's a load of #### and I'm calling it exactly that!!!
